ATR Lab is excited to announce the 2026 Summer Workshop focused on Physical AI and Robotics for middle school students. This workshop will introduce students to hands-on robotics systems, intelligent machines, and emerging technologies in physical AI. Participants will explore how robots interact with the physical world while learning the fundamentals of robotics and AI in an engaging environment. Registration details will be announced soon....

On July 14th 2021, two students from Grand River Academy, accompanied by a chaperone, came to the Math and Science building at Kent State University main campus for a tour of the Advanced Telerobotics Research lab. The students from the ATR lab were to put on workshops and give the students a memorable day full of fun activities and demos. Today Alfred has conducted a seminar regarding the foundations of Unity and Canvas. He spoke of hierarchies, what are Prefabs and how are they useful? It was a productive hour and a long way to go.
