The Graduate Student Senate Research Award is a competitive award that supports research or project-related expenses for Kent State University graduate students.

Irvin Cardenas will be receiving funds up to $2000. One of the requirements of receiving this funding is to present at the 35th Annual Graduate Research Symposium which will take place in 2021 for which the date is yet to determine.
